You can schedule a lactation visit in our office location in Rockville. These visits are generally about 60 min for a first time visit and about 30 min for follow up visits. We encourage you to bring your pump with you (if you have one) and any questions/concerns you have so far. We offer the same comprehensive health assessment of the mom and baby as we do during our home visits. We will help you develop a plan and some goals that work for mom and baby to make this successful and as stress free as possible.
After the visit, we will send your OB/GYN and Pediatrician a summary of our visit so they understand the goals and plans in place and can be a part of your support system in achieving those goals.
A follow up phone call or email the day after your appointment is included in the office visit.
Our Rockville office has a special, cozy Breastfeeding Room especially to help make the visit comfortable and accomodating!
